ALYCIA CHRISTINE
Author, Artist, Photographer
Biography
Alycia Christine Sears grew up near the dusty cotton fields of Lubbock, Texas, and now resides in the Dallas area. Her love of writing and photography blossomed during her time at Texas A&M University where she earned a B.S. in agriculture journalism with a double-emphasis in science and wildlife management. She began writing her first fiction novel as part of a college course project. Since then, Skinshifter and the rest of her novels have gone on to enchant readers with their vivid characters and soulful stories. As a journalist, Alycia worked at Texas A&M’s prestigious Mays Business School and at the Livestock Weekly, one of the leading agriculture newspapers in the United States. As a freelance photographer and graphic designer, she has served venerable organizations like the West of the Pecos Rodeo (the world’s oldest rodeo) and international corporations like Target Logistics. Her photography has also been featured in Times Square. When she isn’t writing, drawing, or shooting photography, Alycia works to promote education and literacy through local and international organizations. Alycia is available for speaking engagements, interviews, and appearances.
